I like all those fabrics together. I think you chose well. Have fun with it. They look like fabrics I would choose to go together, LOL

Just because you bought these fabrics at the same time, it doesn't mean you will use them in the same quilt blocks. You asked for our opinions....well, I like these fabrics, but I wouldn't like them next to each other in the same block.

I like them all but not all together in one project. Most importantly if you like them that is all that matters.

As for me, I would like the first fabric for a tree skirt...the dark fabric wouldn't show dirt...but I have a live tree. The stripe fabric may look nice as a binding, cut on the diagonal or missouri star has a tutorial on blocks using stripe fabrics. The checkered fabric makes me think of a picnic or potholders and the green fabric looks springy or for an Easter table runner. I look forward to what your vision is for your fabrics!

All the fabrics play well with each other with the exception of the red check. All the others seem to have a golden sheen to them...the check is, well, just red and white. Pull that out and use on the reverse. Add some other color (green?) to balance the beautiful ornaments. Keep at it until your reaction is "That's it! Then trust your reaction!!

I like them but would add about 4-5 more.

The only one who has to like them is you.

I love the combination of the three without the check.

I think three of them will look very nice together. I would probably hold out on the check for a different project (or maybe as a wild surprise on the back of your project!). I make dozens of fold n stitch wreaths and my first thought was the ornaments trimmed in the gold with the stripe being used for the 'back' of the petals. I like using a stripe because, when placed correctly, it makes a really cool pattern on the back. Please post a pic of what you decide to do with it.
