    Default Connecting prequilted squares.

I have acquired a collection of prequilted quilt squares. I know that Georgia Bonesteel promotes 'lap quilting', but I do not have much information on joining the squares. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this method of making quilts. I would like to use a small sashing to connect the squares since all of the edges are in white. Please let me know what you consider the best method to use. Thank you.

I would not use Georgia's method in this case. I'd use the sashing method.
Follow this link & go down to post #4 where she is joining her squares:

quilt as you go, adding strips would work. I don't know the measurements but front strip is skinnier than the back strips I think. I lost all my links not too long ago.

This site looks very promising. She has both with and without sashing QAYG.
