Default Do I need a white batting for this?

I am making a Trip around the World that has white as one of the six fabrics. Normally when I have white in a quilt, I use white batting. Do you think that is necessary for this top? I am less than half way done, but I think there is enough done that I can ask for advice. (I am going to need to go buy some white if I decide to go that way. Used the last of that roll on my last quilt.)

What do you think? This will end up being a Quilt of Valor. I want to do it the best way possible.

    Thanks for any opinions.

Actually, the back is going to be a dusty blue. But you have confirmed what I really knew....I will buy some white to use as the batting. I have a polyester white, but do't want that for this.

    Thanks.

Yes, I would only use white! I use lots of white in my quilts and the natural color does seem to show through and dull the white. So I buy mostly white battings now.

I use white batting if the white fabric is a lightweight fabric that is see thru or even slightly see-thru. If the white is a non-see thru, then I can and do use the natural.

Test your normal batting and see how it looks.
