Made it for my daughter, using 30's fabric, queen size. She loves it! I worked on it every day, making a few "blocks" at a time. That way I never got tired or bored of the repetition. QuiltE, I have paper pattern. PM me your addr and I will share it with you. Anyone else?

I made a yellow and blue DWR for my daughter and used the Shar Jorgenson plastic templates. Loved working with these. I got a pizza box and cut out fabrics and put them in order and when I had a few minutes I would get a block done. Your quilt will be beautiful in 30's fabrics. I really recommend her templates-they make it so easy to get a precise cut.

I made one using the book and template from Rings That Bind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-H6GAsqNusIt was fast to make. Took some fussying with the fabric but nothing tedious. It uses a lot of fabric but you don't have to have the quilt quilted. You quilt the block before adding another block. Very nice results and no sashing strips. And it's my go to pattern for a fast big quilt for a gift. I always use sale fabric for it especially for the background.

I also like this pattern for the ring look: https://www.quiltingcompany.com/Quil...y-scrap-quilt/

Beautiful job. I used paper templates as well with 30s fabrics for my first one. I like the Connecting Threads paper piecing. I really enjoyed it because I just did it as I sat watching television at night. There was no pressure to rush or get it done but it really surprised me how fast the process was... probably because I wasn't rushed! lol Another thing I like about the paper piecing was you could cut all of your squares before you begin and even reuse the paper pieces - which are very reasonable at about $4 a pack. It was a fun process for me.

Thank you all for your suggestions. They are very much appreciated. Is it still possible to do the Craftsy now Bluprint class?
