    Default electric Sizzix

I was in a discussion last month about Sizzix machines & Accuquilt where I mentioned I was going to order the new Sizzix Express & would post an update on it.
Now I can't find that discussion but will update here.
I did get it the electric Sizzix Express for my birthday present, it was about $150 on Amazon. So far I have used it to cut out shapes for 2 quilts and it performed well, I cut 8 layers of cotton at a time without problems.
I'm not sure because I didn't time it but it might be a teeny bit slower than doing it manually.
I had shoulder replacement surgery last January with excellent results but decided at my age (81) not to take a chance on more shoulder damage.
I'm very pleased with the Sizzix Express, apparently their previous electric Sizzix of a few years ago had problems.

Good for you at 81 to be learning new equipment. I'm so happy that it worked well and keeps you creating and quilting.

I have the sizzix pro(manual though) and have used it a lot to cut 2 inch squares and 3 inch tumblers.
