Default Fabric ideas for floral log cabin

Hello all, I am a confident newbie looking for fabric suggestions for a floral log cabin. Since I am not so good at color matching, I an thinking I should go with both a floral and a light ( beiges/ tans) colored fat quarter bundle. Any suggestions?

check out barnbum's floral log cabin. I'm doing this, one day. i finally have my fabrics saved. you just have to collect as you find them. I found the lights harder to find than the florals.

I'm sorry. those are nice examples, but you must see the first and best floral log cabin made by barnbum. I wish I had better pictures ;-)

I have been cutting through all my floral fabric into 2 1/2" strips. If you are interested let me know. I tried to post a pic but didn't work, so pm your email if you would like to see a pic.

I had almost forgotten my promise to myself to make some of these. They are SO lovely. I remember seeing some of her FLC blocks in fall colors too, and they were just exquisite. Gotta do this. And I love how the floral strips are wider than the light strips - but that confuses me so. It seems that it would make the blocks not quite symmetrical - guess I need to draw it out. But thanks for bringing these pictures back. I love them.
