Shades Soft Fuse is wonderful

Somewhere in my cyber wandering yesterday, I heard or read about another fusible called Do Sew, at least I am pretty sure that is the name of it. It sounded like a winner for applique, using the sew right sides together, slit fusible on back, turn and press to project. Have never seen it anywhere or heard of it before. Anyone else know of it and where it can be found?

I prefer Steam a Seam 2 Lite toHeat n Bond. I have not seen or tried any of the others. I also use featherweight interfacing for some applique projects.

ditto. This is the BEST one out there. Once the project is finished you don't even know it is in your project, it is so soft.

There is a fusible called Vilene. It does not seem to be stiff and works nicely. A guild member uses it all the time on the McKenna Ryan projects, they are just beautiful.

Thanks for that info on Shades. I have used Mistyfuse but I find it kind of a pain because there's no paper backing.

Wow, expensive! Misty Fuse is cheaper, just use parchment paper for the release paper.

I buy feather weight fusible interfacing, you can hardly tell its there!
