Well, a Monet would be worth a lot of money. So you could sell your Monet and use the proceeds to buy fabric!

    ;)

Erica's is a great online fabric shop, they have quilt shop quality fabric. I go by the price of the fabric, you get what you pay for.
They pack the fabric tightly to get as much as possible in an envelope to keep the postage down. They offer a wide selection of name brand lines of fabric. There are also free patterns to print. I have found some really great patterns on the website. Erica's is in Indiana, I usually get my order here in Missouri in 3 days. The mail man stuffs the envelope in my mailbox.

My favorite on line shop is Crafttown Fabrics, always 10% off on-line orders, 4 and 5 dollar a yard clearance fabric, always 20% off pre cuts and she ships up to 8 yards of fabric for 4.95. And the fabric is quilt shop quality.

I really try to support my local quilt store. That way I can touch and feel before I buy and see the true color. With today's economy I feel really strong about supporting all of our towns businesses. If I can get it a little cheaper at Wal Mart I would rather shop at LQS and other businesses.
    Just my opinion.

After someone else on the QB mentioned it, I looked up Quilt Kits Online and ordered fabric from them. They have gorgeous stuff and very high quality, a lot of it from England. Their sale fabrics were very reasonable.

I have never had a bad piece of fabric from Sew Spider.com. She also has sales going very often, and a CyberSale on Sat., at Noon, I believe.
She is in Ohio, so you would want to check the time zones.
