I can understand how you feel totally as most of my stash has been in storage for 3yrs now and shall not be able to get it out till next year sometime. I will feel like a girl in a candy store myself although really I have a small stash in comparison to some I have seen on here.

These days I buy very little in the way of stash fabrics because I have come to realize that I likely will never use all my fabrics that are stashed, taste changes over the years and one invariably finds that they don't have enough of what ever they think they would like to use ( I do not make scrappy quilts myself at this time although who knows I might change and do so in the future)? maybe though I doubt it. Therefor; for myself personally, buying fabric I have no immediate plans for is a waste of money I cannot afford. I will buy all the fabric for a project in mind and store it labeled with the pattern name if I really love it because I know if I don't buy it when I see it then I likely won't ever buy it and will always think "I wish"

    Happy organizing

I thought I left a few of my bins in that trailer too ; )

We moved last year and after having my fabric stashed for only a few months, I felt lost. What was bad about our move was my husband got to see the size of my stash! Yikes!

Last week, I went through all my bins and sorted the fabrics....well I washed all the cottons cuz I just felt like it and have to sort it but I sorted and folded all the others. I can't wait to find the time to fondle and organize my cottons.

I am sure you will enjoy reuniting yourself with your stash. You will have fun re-organising it all.
