My dh bought be a mid-arm. A grace company frame with Viking machine (which ways a ton) with cruise control and all the bells , whistles and accessories. I was happy with the price. I can't wait to get it up and running. Will post pictures, hopefully next week. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

You will enjoy it. Dry erase board for drawing designs to train my brain where to go. Has helped me so much. I look on here and then try to draw the designs that others here use, and practice drawing it until I have it in my brain, and then it is easy to do it on the quilt.

try looking for a group on Yahoo...Homequiltingsystems There will be lots of quilters who have the same or similar frames. My favorite resource for free motion quilting on a frame... www.pajamaquilter.com She will get you started with no pressure. She got me started with the white board. (just remember to use the LOW ODOR kind! ask me how I know! lolol) Congrats and good luck..

Slow and easy. Don't expect too much too soon. Like everything in life, it takes time to learn. You can do it!!
