    I have also not stitched it down. If it is fused tightly and there are no ravels it looks good as is. This is not going to be washed or receive heavy wear on the edges so it stays as is. I have one hanging on my door for fall now that way. Another perk of not stitching it down is you don't have any stitching on the part you roll over so it gives that a new dimension as well.

    I like the looks of the feather stitch. I agree with you that the satin stitching is too thread and labor intensive.

    I always used satin stitch but after trying the blanket stitch, I'd never go back. I like the way it looks. It's much quicker and it doesn't eat up all my thread. Enjoy!

    I really like using the blanket stitch. I think it looks nice. You are right-the satin stitch makes the item so heavy and it does take a lot of thread and time.

    I saw on their forum where one person did a totally different decorative stitch. the creativity for that and other patterns just amazes me every time I see them.

    has anyone used that Bosal stuff inside them? i bought some Bosal squares but haven't used them yet.
