Years ago, a lady had a small fabric outlet in her garage and then she just disappeared. I was sad because that was when I was still doing some sewing and had found good things in there.

Well, I found out this week she was back in her garage (she had opened a store about 25 miles away and it wasn't busy enough to keep driving over there).

She thinks she needs to retire she said (she's 83) but she doesn't know what she'd do with her time and she needs the extra money.

Lookie lookie what I got today... all for $52.

    25 of the 9" zipper @ .75 each (goodie/make up bags)
    1 2/3 of Superman
    1 of dominoes
    1 of baby tweetie
    1 1/2 of spiderman
    1 1/2 of mcdonalds
    2 of the insulbrite

She is getting some more in but honesty I don't know where she will put it. I was in a rush or I'd still be there I'm afraid. Ohhhh and she had probably 10 or more "cheater" backing fabrics. I didn't see their price but I'm sure it wasn't bad.

Her blenders were less than $5 a yard and her 90" backings were less than $8.

I can see I'm going to have to become a super lunchtime shopper as she's about 15 minutes from my office....15 there & back plus 1/2 hr to get're done.

    Lucky lunchtime for me :)

Great find. I have a small piece of the dice fabric. I can't wait to use it in something.

Either the Parkway or Hwy 641 to Draffenville....
    Take Hwy 68 west
Turn right on Hwy 95 (there's a sign on a garage up to the right)
go about 1 mile.... just about 2 blks past the new middle school

Says "Fabric Outlet" on the right

It's in her garage. You may have to ring the doorbell on the patio door.
