Found old project - needs updating!

During our recent move, I discovered a large shoe box filled with 100's of 6" squares exchanged in a guild meeting in 2007! Nothing was assembled but the rules were to exchange very small prints or squares that read as solids. You pair them with neutral fabrics to make 3" finished 4-patches (red, blue, green, gold, purple, brown, gray, aqua). Then you alternate the 4-patches with more neutral background squares. Too boring!!! Trying to come up with something more jazzy and attractive. Any design experts out there? Would appreciate your ideas.

place pairs face to face for HSTs. There are so many beautiful layouts for HSTs

This is from 2009; but I still think it looks good today!
I plan on making one of these some day......maybe try it with your "find."

HSTs made with a bright cream background - so many ways they can be used. Snowballs - I am working on a Xs and Os with snowballs right now.

Great work Patchworkbarb! Love the colors; the borders and binding finish it off perfectly!

I'm going with HST as well. You can toss them any way you want.
