    Default Friends quilts

A few years ago I did a quilt where it was me and a friend made the blocks together. We each did a strip then it was how it was cut up that we each got the parts to make our blocks. Now I can't find the complete pattern. Does anyone here know of a pattern that you use one pattern and it makes 2 quilts at once?

The only thing I can think of is the Serendipity quilt from Missouri Star Quilt Co. It was featured at Moda Bake Shop:

Eleanor Burns does a Double Pinwheel that can be done as two quilts since half the pinwheels spin one way and half the opposite way. There is also a BoM here http://www.opengatequilts.com/bloggergirlsbomii.html that does 2 blocks at once.

This is the one quilt that came to my mind too. EB also has in her 25th anniversary book, a pattern called Nine Patch & Stripe quilt where two quilts are created.

Would it have been "Trip for Two to Boston"? That quilt was cut into strips, sewn together and then sliced again. The colors are reversed from center to outside on the two quilts. If I'm remembering correctly, it took 15 fabrics. Good luck with figuring it out!!

Do either you or your friend still have your quilt so you could take a picture and post it for us to see?
