    Default Gnomes for Christmas

I've notice gnome patterns have popped up all over craft sites this year. Are you making any for holiday decorating or gift giving? I'm not. I think they may be related to elves that come in at night and play in my sewing room....or maybe it is Christmas gnomes...lol

They kind of bug me and they're kind of cute at the same time. Some of these little guys and pillow patterns jumped into my cart last week I am sunk now.

I'm not making any and don't know anyone who collects them. I really don't understand the interest in them. But "different stokes and all that".

    I'll take gnomes over unicorns.

I think they are cute but I usually just make seasonal table toppers or wall hangings for celebrating the seasons but not quilts. I have enough nice Christmas decorations, so no.

I've seen them in Christmas pots with greens - I like the ones I have seen.

My DIL fell in love with gnomes this year so I made her a quick Christmas quilt. There is a free 2 fabric pattern on Pacific Rim Quilt Company that I may have to do next year.

I'm tired of nothing but male gnomes in the new fabric lines. Where are the child gnomes and women gnomes of the 1970s?

The women and children gnomes are napping because they are out all night playing in our sewing rooms and I can prove it!

I made three gnomes. and I bought 3. I gave my first two to my daughter. She likes them. The ones I bought were $3 eac and I saw the same ones for sale for $6 on line. I am kind of tired of them now.
