Didn't realize there was a difference in seam rippers. Mine have been disappearing, iin fact so has my little scissors. May have to move my waste basket, I think it eats things.

OK girls here is one for you. have you tried a Eyebrow shapers as a seam rippper?? I ladie at work told me about they you can buy them at Wal Mart 3 for $1.00 and they are not bad. they have a guard over the blade so you don't cut your fabric but you can still get to the seam. let me know what you think?

I have a clover ripper with a brown handle. Works very well, but my favorite one is a Kenmore ripper that I have had for almost 50 years, came with my first Kenmore I bought years ago. It is still sharp too!

My grandaddy told me with good tools you can do a good job. At this time of my life, I now uderstand that he was a wise man. I get the best tools I can and I take great care of them. Tools are money.

Sounds like a date I don't want to go on. I know what you mean though, about the ergonomic ripper. I was amazed at the difference it makes with painful hands
