    Default "A Good One"

    Have to share this -

The other day I was in my sewing room sewing with my White Featherweight. Hubby comes in and takes a picture of me at the machine. I asked why he took a picture and said "so I have some pictures of you for your funeral display board".

Actually a great idea. Your friends (quilters) will see you as they remember you. A quilting friend recently passed and her hubby had her quilts on display and one on her to keep her comfortable. I would like the same when it is time.

That is so funny, but a great idea! What if he dies first? I really like it when people can lighten up such a serious topic. If only I had a picture of my grandmother sewing, I would hang it in my sewing area!

Funny but I would have to say, wait until I get out of my PJ’s. Since the pandemic, I haven’t always gotten dressed to sew.😂

LOL I remember trying to get my friends to join local community groups to boost the memberships. I would tell them may as well as it would look good in their obituaries.

I am sure that the pall on my coffin will be a quilt! (as long as I don't die during the COVID pandemic) Good idea to take a few pics however.

One of my best memories of my grandfather is his white head bent over his treadle sewing machine..so not a bad idea.
