Someone was talking about a Kentucky Star quilt recently and I wondered what it looks like. I did a search here and didn't find anything with this name. Thank you!

'Can't figure out how to post a link, but google Carol Doak's Kentucky star. I have it on CD in her 30 Paper Pieced Quilt Blocks book. It's a really pretty star pattern.

Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns lists the following star type blocks with Kentucky in the name:

    1. Kentucky
    2. Kentucky Beauty
    3. A Kentucky Quilt

Beverly, the first block looks like the picture in the link from raptureready.

Thanks everyone, at least I have something to go by now! I'm thinking of a Jinny Beyer print for the diamonds. The wheels are turning already!
