Default Heart quilt block

I found this block in my orphan box and I am trying to disguise my less then stellar cutting job. Would you put the yo yo hearts where I have them or move them to the left side? 2 hearts or three in a group or separated?

I'd add more yoyo interest and color.

I think you did an excellent job, much better than I could have ever done. I would try adding some bright spring colors.

I can't see where your cutting was off either. I would add at least one more heart or even two, to make a grouping.

The left bottom side is narrower then the right. I did a hot pink yoyo and I don't think it goes (center of heart) and I did a pale pink heart between the others. I think it looks better? Now should I leave them on the right or move them over to the left side to hide the narrowing?

The heart buttons are great as well.

Personally I would put them on the left to cover the narrow cut since the rest of the heart seems to be all the same width.

i would leave all in red, add one more heart. uneven quantities look nicer, to me, than even numbered quantities. i think three is best ..more is cluttered. the heart buttons in white are perfect!

When making flower arrangements one should always use uneven numbers of objects.
Therefore I would use three of five hearts and group them close together on the left side.
Your block looks real good.

Left side, where the heart is thinner. And maybe add a few pink yo-yo flowers and a vine?
