Did the problem start after the cleaning and changing the needle? Have you done all the usual. Re-threading, re-loading the bobbin, turning off and letting it sit and turning it back on. Remember, its not a mechanical machine. It might need a hard reboot.

I've found with some of the electronic/computerized machines about half the problems are user error.

No. It was after cleaning and needle change. It was working and ten stopped working.
I am new to baby lock letting it test now.

I'd re thread and take your bobbin out and put it back in. Especially with a new machine, it's easy to get things wrong. I often get the manual out to make sure I'm threading and putting the bobbin in correctly.

Check the bobbin. How did you insert it?

Most BL bobbins are inserted so the thread winds off the top of the bobbin and comes down on the left hand side. It looks like a
    ”p”.
    (Page 7 picture #25)
Make sure the bobbin is seated correctly into the bobbin case area.

Make sure you have the correct foot on the machine. Some stitches are locked out and not available.

You might need to put a layer of stabilizer under the fabric. Plain tissue paper works too.

Next, check the manual. Do you have a key that looks like a lock on the screen? It may have been pushed accidentally.
It can be pressed when changing the needle so the needle doesn’t come down when changing.

    Hope that helps!

Look at page 27 in the Manual for information regarding changing the needle and locked keys.

    Hope that helps.

Manuals and guides are available on line if you need them.

If you took the bobbin case out of the machine to clean under it, double check the manual for re-inserting it. There is a specific order and placement. I've had this happen to me and it was a simple fix. I'm not near my machine at the moment but I know there are instructions in the book. Don't panic!

Another tip: Was a there a round metal/magnetic washer under the bobbin? Did you put it back in the case? It has to go back into the case. (Not sure if the Soprano has this metal/magnetic washer or not.)
