    Default Help - Cricut

Has anyone tried to use a Cricut to cut fabric? How did it turn out?

I would be interested in hearing from people who have used their Cricut to cut fabric too. I have a Cricut that I use for scrapbooking and making cards, but I have never tried to cut fabric. Joann's had a Cricut instructor at their store recently. I wasn't close enough to hear everything she said, I thought she said we need to use a special needle to cut fabric.

yes and it was a pain and even with different settings I never got a clean cut, always had to trim up. best luck I had was new mat, brayer, deep cut blade and trial and error with different settings. It was one of the reasons I invested in a brother SNC, much cleaner cuts

I tried it...FAIL! I would wait for a joanns coupon and get the fishers 6x24 ruler that has the roary cutter on it. I love mine. Works great..accurate,can cut 8 pieces of fabric at a time.
