Default Help with fmq pattern for the sky

I'm making a quilt using a large panel 36x45 for the center of the quilt. I'm doing QAUG and doing FMQ .. I have most of the panel quilted but am stumped with what kind of pattern I should use for the sky. as you can see I used a longer pattern for the water and just a small stippling for the rocks. now I don't know what I should use for the sky. would a larger stippling pattern look ok. I'm not real good with doing FMQ but I am trying and it is a lot of fun, kind of drawing with thread or in my case outlining and filling it in.

I did go to goggle and looked up patterns for fmq but didn't really find any that I thought would look good for the sky on this panel and that was for someone just starting out.

So what pattern would you use that is a easy one that would look good for the sky. thank you

did you do the water all ready that I see? it looks wonderful. For the sky I was still thinking of a water look but much larger, looser waves to it. or very large meander. You are doing so well that I feel what ever you pick will end up perfect!

I think a few lines going in gentle curves/ripples across the sky as if the wind is blowing. You have done a really nice FMQ job so far!

Yes, I agree with Tartan. Do an upper left quarter of a circle, the do a half circle, then finish of with the upper right quarter of a circle. Try it on a test sample and see if you like it. I use that design all the time for the sky.
