I made a few with by mary quilts.com quick donation quilts. was wondering if you stable each strip and then do free motion or just start at top and work way down. Just going to do few lines in small strips free motion in bigger strips.

I also have 1 with blocks. Would I stitch in ditch starting in middle then go around each block. When that is done would I go back and do pattern in each. thanks for any help

It would help greatly if you would tell us if you are quilting by moving the sandwich under the machine or by moving the machine head over the sandwich.
