Mary Jo's Cloth Shop has a website. They have tons and tons of fabric at very reasonable prices. I got to go to the actual store, and I was just amazed at their inventory of quilting cotton....literally thousands of bolts. It's at maryjos.com

I LOVE http://www.equilter.com. I have never been disappointed by quality or service. The website is easy to navigate and they have a design board so you can coordinate the fabric. They also donate a percentage of each purchase to charitable causes. Another thing I like is both sides of the cut are the same yardage. If you order 1, 2, or more yards, both edges of the fabric are the same amount of yardage--no uphill cuts that leave you short.

Love these guys. I am close so I don't have to order but get to visit.
I just checked their site. They are really inexpensive and the fabric looks good. Thanks.

I've liked the fabrics best on equilter.com. They seem to have ones I can't find other places, especially when I'm looking for fabric with metallic threads in it for a bit of oomph. Their prices seem in line with my LQS and the postage is cheaper than gasoline. I really enjoy their newsletter with its ideas and new products - not too long to read, very informative.

There seem to be a lot of great websites to purchase fabric.

I just tried equilter.com and I can stay on that one forever. There are so many shops on it.

I just put in a few words of what I was looking for and it brought up just the shops that carry what I want. For instance: 'lilac flowers'.

    It's great.

Also found out about the fabshophop.com which is a shop hop for online people. Sounds great! You can get money, fabric, etc, etc, etc.
    Check it out.

Have had wonderful results with Connecting Threads and usually have my order in 3 or 4 days...they are located in Washington State and I live on the eastern seaboard... Mary Jo's is located in Gastonia, NC and is only 40 minutes from me so I/we go there all the time... they have all kinds of fabric, upholstery, notions, quilting supplies, you name it... and they are cheaper than the LQS which is not too local for me... They even sell old fashioned grits and cornmeal in packages if you have a hankering...
