    Default Help Looking For Parts

I just purchased a Brother XR1355. I would like to purchase extra bobbins and another 1/4" presser foot. I've looked everywhere on line and find lots of Brother bobbin/presser feet but not for this particular machine. I know I've read on here that others have this machine so where do you purchase them? This is going to be my travel/backup machine so I'd like to have spare parts too. Thanks

Contact Allbrands.com. They have good customer service and can find compatible parts for you. I've ordered "after market" parts from them several times and have been satisfied with every purchase.

I buy my Brother bobbins at Walmart, 12 for $3. I order feet on eBay or go to our local Brother dealer. I have 2 Brothers and my Juki also takes Brother bobbins and feet.

I suggest to start searching on eBay. I bought a new walking foot for my old Bernina 1530 on eBay.

I found this source for ordering online:
    http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bro...355-parts.aspx

There is an adaptor shank you can buy so you can use snap on feet with it. However, that typically is not as good as buying a foot made especially for your machine. A dealer should be able to get you another foot. If there is none close to you, try for someone in your state; you can usually call to make an order and they will mail it out to you.
