    My neighbor was sewing with me last week and she had the same thing happen with my Sing 401A...I rethreaded it and it has been fine since...She did tear out the thread of her quilt top she sewed..

    All that has been mentioned, re-thread machine, wind fresh bobbin, and check for lint build up. Good luck!
