    Default Hexie question.....

what is the largest size hexie template I could use with the 2 1/2 inch mini charm packs? I picked up a few Midwinter Red mini charm packs 'cause they're so darn cute & thought the hexie might be fun to play with. I can't find the plastic templates locally so thought I'd order but not sure what size to get. TIA!!!!

Hi Susann. I use one inch hexies and cut my fabric in 2 1/2 inch squares. I use paper hexagons, and after pinning the papers to the squares, I lop of the four corners, being sure to leave at least a 1/4 in. for the seam allowence. So, in answer to your question, 1 inch hexagons is what you would need to order. Have fun with your hexie project! Your charm pack sounds fun!
