I have used the Hobbs 80/20 and like it a lot. Most of the quilters in my guild use it.

Hobbs 80/20 is one of my favorites to use for quilts. Its a bit fluffier than warm and natural when the quilt is washed.

I've used the 80/20 numerous times and like it; I recently used the Hobbs bleached white cotton and wasn't impressed at all - I will definitely NOT use it again and will instead rely on the Warm Company's 100% cotton products when I need to use cotton batts for customers.

I use Hobbs 80/20 and Hobbs Polydown all the time. They are uniform in thickness, quilt easily and wash and wear well. I buy a roll of each (if I need one) at my LQS's annual truckload batting sale (40% off) which seems to be the best price in Canada (no Joanne's here).

I have used *and take advantage of that sale* hobbs battings most of the time- I love them all, and have tried them all. I use the black when making black/dark quilts- I use 80/20 often- I love, love, love the hobbs Wool batting...I recommend hobbs to everyone who asks.

I use Hobbs 80/20 batting and like it very much. My quilting is almost exclusively for charity, and I appreciate their low charity batting price for a roll available with 5 UPC's.

A year ago the National Ranching Heritage Center (located in Lubbock, TX) featured exhibits and seminars on the subject of quilting. I enjoyed the batting presentation by a representative from Hobbs. We were informed that although some of their fibers are purchased from outside of the country as needed, they purchase as much as possible in the U.S. and have a commitment to not out source labor.
