    Maybe ypu could score some points if you buy her some nice kitchen shears and save your scissors at the same time.

    No reason to buy kitchen shears now. He just bought new scissors for himself - give her the stinky ones.

    Listen...Don't knock the kitchen shears!
    New ones will cut quite a few layers of tightly pinned small applique shapes!
