    I've found the u-tube video where Sharon is basting her quilt - but for the life of me can't find one where she shows how to use the boards she uses to roll her top/back on. I've used search above and didn't find it - maybe because I don't know which words to use in my search. I'm desparate.

    I haven't done it, but I would probably use painter's tape (the blue stuff) to secure the sandwich to the board before rolling.

    I don't use anything to attach the top or the back to the boards.

    Look here - she actually does not attach the fabric to the boards - this u-tube - sets the process up for you:

    THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! This is exactly what I was looking for and I'll look for the boards in the 'finishing' section of the store. I was thinking 1x3s painted. Which would probably work too.

    The ones I got are some kind of MDF board and are about 1 x 3 or so. A friend of mine got poplar boards and sanded the edges just a bit so they weren't so sharp.
