These have been around a long time. They are called Triangles on a roll by Quilter's ranch. I found it easier just to cut out squares and mark the center.

Wow, they certainly increased in their price.

They aren't on a roll, but Thangles come in strips and are the same deal as the ones on a roll.
Personally, I like the 8 at a time process. Fewest lines to draw and the HSTs come out with edges on the straight of grain.

They have a link so you can download a chart on the size to cut your starting square to get the appropriate sized HST. I cut them a bit bigger & square them up using my Bloc Loc.

Triangles on a roll are on a roll. They were started down here in the Phoenix area. I've used them and liked them.

    Thangles are flat sheets.

And, the are other methods to use as well.

Triangles n a roll are great if you are doing a scrappy with odd sized fabric pieces, or a pattern that calls for " many" hst..just cut that roll to fit...thangles, to me are a bit fussier......I have used tr on a roll for -jewel box quilt, ocean waves,.....now I use my GO......for most

I've used Thangles, and I've also made them larger and cut them down to size. I don't find one of those methods any better than the other as they both involvd a bunch of cutting. My new method is the "quilters rule" where you cut 2 squares a certain precise size, use the "rule" to draw the diagonal line, precisely sew 1/4 inch on both sides of the line, cut the diagonal, and you have 2 perfect-sized HST. I've tried drawing the diagonal line and sewing without the tool, and they do not come out accurately. It must be me not being able to mark correctly, but now that "rule" has been working great for me.
