After reading the message board for the last month I was interested in finding a vintage sewing machine. Last week while shopping with my granddaughter at a thrift store we came upon an old sewing machine. I purchased the machine and found out its a Singer 1934 Model 15 which I paid $70.00. The unexpected part was it was sitting on my entry table so I could take it to get serviced and a friend came over to borrow a tool. Seeing the machine he stated he had a little machine in a small box and wanted to know if I wanted it as he had wanting to get rid of it for a while. Oh Happy Day! It's a 1947 featherweight!

Yes, you have two beautiful machines. I think that most people are happy when they can find someone to love and care for their unused machines.

Collecting vintage machines is another entire hobby. One usually leads to another. I guess old machines are like us. They need friends!
