I use a padded roll around stool, like you find in Dr. offices. Don't buy one labeled as that, just take the back off a padded air lift desk chair. Walmart had very good quality padded desk chairs at the start of school for $60 and later marked down to $25. Great colors too and Staples didn't have any color but black for twice the price and less padding in the seat.

I will be sharing pictures of the table runners soon. I want to get the binding done first.

As for the pattern I'm using.... just sewing squares together in rows using Moda charm packs. I needed something stress free. LOL

I don't have a designated sewing space so I sew at my dining room table and sit in a hard wooden chair. Or at least I used to.

My computer is in another room and I love to sit here and looks at quilt pictures all day long instead of making my own. The other day I decided to take my nice comfy computer chair to the dining room to sew. Now the hard chair is at my computer and I just can't sit here for too long anymore. I've made seven table runners this week except for the binding. As Charlie Sheen would say - "Winning!"
I've thought about taking my computer chair to my sewing table-----but haven't yet.

Another way to do more quilting is not cook or clean (LOL).
Seriously, when I cook, I try to make enough for 2 meals. That gives me more time to quilt.
