I am green with envy ... but great find ... it's so nice to score like this when you are going to turn around and make quilts for charity ... I am always looking for backs since I love making scrappy quilts for charity ... have spent more time longarming for charity than piecing ... 2013 will change that ... I miss being at my sewing machine. Have fun and don't forget to post pictures from time to time.

Whew...at least I'm not jealous. When I'm in the states, I'm in Pasco County and Merritt Island is just too far for any yard sale!!!!! ;0

Last time I was in the states, mom let me look through her fabric. I took quite a few pieces and have already used them for backings (I took most of her seersucker) for charity quilts. She hasn't sewn much for years. Probably next time I'll go through her collection again...but don't want to take her absolute best because she still gets in the mood to make something once in a while.

LOL, I'm trying! Yesterday I made up several baby quilt kits. That way I can save some time later on.

You sure hit the jackpot and I am sooo happy for you. Congrats! Enjoy incorporating them into your stash and using them in quilts.
