I am looking for ideas for a baby quilt that is modern and a little different. I love the Baby Honu quilt in the post below. It's too early to know what gender, I'm just wanting to get a few possible ideas to choose from. Any other suggestions?

I agree that is a neat quilt. Applique in my opinion is a fantastic way to embellish any quilt. I suggest looking at coloring book pages to explore ideas.

I think I can help. There is a Canadian co,that makes the cutest patterns. Not affiliated just a happy customer. They are called blue meadow designs. They have the cuttest patterns and they are selling them on etsy in pdf. I have only bought the hardcopies in stores but this might be a good thing. There patterns are different and simple and very modern. Since I love your style and theirs, I am sure you will be impressed. Now the problem will be which one to choose,

They do have a website, more like a blog, go snoop around, lotsa cute stuff. chek it out

Coloring Books are always a good source for baby/childrens quilts as long as they are given away and not sold.

My pleasure, it was your posts that made me buy a lucky stars pattern so I am so happy I could pay back the favor!

I have made the Boho baby one many times and just change the colors, in place of "baby", I put the baby's name

I'm always happy to help other people spend their money! LOL

I see a few things I like on that site, so I'll have to take a better look when I get home.
