Default I'm back! working on a baby quilt from a panel

Hi all, I've been away for some time due to health issues, but I'm doing much better now and hopefully back for good.
I've still been quilting while away, and just finished two quilts for a local DJ on PBS. I'll post that on photos later.
I'm currently working on a baby quilt from a panel and would like your thoughts about the outer border as I have it on the sketch... it didn't come out even and so the corners look a little awkward to me.
Will it be ok in fabric do you think?

Honestly, I think it will be fine. In my opinion, any awkwardness only adds to the charm of a handmade quilt. Sometimes I even prefer that to absolute perfection.

Cute top and welcome back! Are you going to do the sketched border in one background colour and another for the triangle frame? I think it will add a nice frame after the squares border.

Yes, the inner part is all one fabric and the outer part is another.
Thanks all, I'm going to go for it! I kind of thought it would be less noticeable in fabric and I'm glad you all agree!

Hey, relax ... It looks fine. The Amish have a saying, "Nothing is perfect, except for God." I agree or I'd be pulling out more stitches tan I put it. ...I'm glad you feel better and back to quilting.

I think you’re allowed to do whatever works and I think it makes the quilt unique. Welcome back to the QB and happy quilting.
