I saw a tip in a quilting magazine that said to cut that rubbery shelf liner into shapes (they used a heart shape) to put under your ruler to keep it from slipping. Since I have lots of that stuff I thought I would cut up a bunch and share them at my guild.

I love grip strips. They are clear and self adhesive and I don't have to cut them to fit. The ruler will not slip with grip strips.

Me too I guess. I tried and tried to use the Invisigrip but my rulers still slipped and slid like always. Finally chose to use dots of hot glue on the back of my rulers. That sure works!!!

I was trying to use my binding buddy ruler today and it kept slipping on the last few inches. I thought about your comment and ripped a piece of shelf liner out of the cabinet I keep dishes in, it was great. I cut off a piece that would fit under the ruler on the last section and it did not slip again. Thanks for the tip.

After reading comments here about it, I bought some and put it the full length on my 24 inch ruler. It definitely has cut down on slippage! Doesn't eliminate it but I think well worth it.

Same here! I know there are a lot of ways to prevent slipping, and I inherited several rulers from Momma without Invisigrip and, for me, it is definitely the best...
