Default ISO old Craftsy quilt pattern

A few years ago, the Midnight Quilt Show with Angela Walters did a Milky Way Sawtooth Start quilt. I'd like the pattern but of course, Craftsy as it was back then is no longer. I've done a google search and can't come up with the pattern. Does anyone know where I could possibly find it and I'm just missing it? It is so cute and I'm thinking of using Lori Holt's Prim collection to make it.

I googled the pattern name, and several came up. Try it and see if that is the pattern.

I googled and all I got were Pinterest links that just lead back to the video. The other hits were not the quilt from the video.

I contacted the designer, Monique Dillard and she is not allowed to sell the pattern but says she will have someone similar available soon. Bummer

I just watched the YouTube video, it looks like all the final units end up the same size, so if you make your half square triangles and pointy (color pop) units the same size as your solid square, then you can put them together like she does. I can't find a pattern but it shouldn't be to hard to figure out by watching he put them together,

yes I've seen the video, it does not include the pattern though and I'm not sure I can figure it out on my own.

Angela does not say what the measurements are in the video, but I paused and looked at the marks on her ruler and/or mat, and I figured out the sizes: she is working with a bunch of 4 7/8", 4.5" and 2.5" squares. She makes some HSTs from the 4 7/8" squares (each block uses 3). She makes some units where the 2.5" squares are used to snowball 2 adjacent corners of the 4.5" square (each block uses 4 of these - 2 light ones, and 2 dark ones). The block also uses 2 plain 4.5" squares (1 light, 1 dark). (Personally, if I was going to make this block/quilt, I would use 5" squares to make the HSTs and then trim them down to 4.5" size - I get better HSTs this way and I don't have to deal with cutting on a 7/8 line.)

I highly recommend trying out one block with some scrap fabric to check that the measurements are correct before doing a lot of cutting!

Excuse the rough drawing but this may work for you. Should say 4.5 “ dark and (3) 4.5” hsts..

this shows you how to make the block. You would substitute hsts where required
