i have a 9000-it is 13 1/2 years old and would love to upgrade to one that has a bigger hoop. haven't sewn on it as much since i got a 6600P last Sept. That one is going to the house up north to sew on when i can't be outside. i love them both. haven't had too many problems with the older one, but it's got lots of miles on it.

I have the Janome 350E and I love it. All my machines are Janome. I wouldn't buy anything else.

I have the janome 300, which you can pick up about half the price of the 350. The 300 doesn't have the auto thread trimmer and does not accept a USB. For a savings of over $600 I could handle some thread snippng. My machine works great and with the gigahoop I can do up to 7 x 9. I use Embird and do a lot of my own digitizing.

I have the 350E and just love it. It has some really beautiful built in patterns and unlimited ones when you load your own downloaded from the internet. I use the built in's to fancy up guest hand towels.

I have the 6500, the 350e, and the Jem. All are great! The 6600 is even better than the 6500 (which I bought a while ago). No complaints about Janomes!

    I have a Janome 6260 and a Janome6600 and love them both.
The 6600 has the accufeed and tons of stitches that i am learning to use.
Not learning as in, it's hard,...
learning, as being brave enough to do stuff and remembering to do it.
I don't need an embroidery machine, but that's up to the individual.
I am happy with the stitches my machine came with.
I love applique, so I do that if i want pictures.
I love the way the machine is designed and the user friendly manual. You know the saying: if I can understand it...anybody can.

I have the 6600 and love it! I started with the 760 Gem and it is a workhorse. You can't do any better.
