    Default Japanese fabrics

Does anybody have a list of online fabrics websites in Japan which ship international? I've recently fell in love with Japanese fabrics but they are very expensive. Almost $20/yard from most Etsy sellers. Just trying my luck to see if I could locate retailers shipping directly from Japan.

There are many brick & mortor and online quiltshops/sellers in North America that sell Asian/Japanese fabrics.
If you do a google search for "Asian Fabric" or "Japanese Fabric" you will find them.

    Here are a few links

Shibori Dragon has a nice selection:

Also, Robert Kaufman fabrics have many Japanese prints and are actually printed in Japan.

I just googled Japanese fabrics in Singapore and in Japan, and a lot of information came up. Also google Japanese quilting. You could also try Yoko Sato's website. If she doesn't have what you want, she might be able to direct you.
    Good luck in your search!

Take a look at fabrictales.com. Authentic but not cheap, however...

I am not sure if you are looking for "Asian style" cottons or other fiber content. It would be helpful to have more definition of the fabrics you seeking.

Try One World Fabrics. They're in the US, and have TONS of Japanese fabrics!

Thanks. There are stores selling Jap fabrics in Singapore but they are just too expensive. That's why I'm trying to see if I could ship directly from Japanese sellers at a lower price. I hardly buy fabrics from Singapore as they are all imported. Much cheaper to ship directly from USA as retailers are able to ship over using a Flat Rate envelope for up to 10yds.
