After all strips are sewn together, and don't like it, how do you cut it up to reposition the looks. I think I saw a post about cutting into squares or something. Please help.

Just fold it as you would yardage & cut it into strips they can all be the same size or vary them.
then mix them up, turn them upside down & it will change the pattern. You will end up with a smaller
quilt in doing this.

I have also seen where people have appliqués on top such as Long stem flowers or a sprinkle of stars.

I'm one who made it, didn't like it, so I cut it again width-wise and made a postage stamp quilt. Don't have finished pictures yet, but this will give you an idea...

This quilt started as a racer - I cut it into blocks on the bias, added some sashing and borders...taadaa! (Sorry it's kind of blurry, but you get the idea...)

Peckish - every time I see this quilt I think, "I've gotta make one like that!" I love that quilt it inspires me every time I see it. Please do post finished pics when you get around to it.

So funny, the person who made the quilt didn't like it but the rest of us do! Do we have preconceived ideas when we do a project like this? I actually like both the before and after quilts posted above.
