Loved looking at it, but at my age - no way I would make it. If you do, please be sure to share a pix.

I have another of her patterns almost done. Her patterns don’t give a lot of directions. Each block I had to take apart piece by piece before making it and rewrite directions that made sense to me. I really had to think on how to do it. I’ve been quilting for about 40 years. That said, I bought 3 more of her patterns. There’s a chat thread on the challenges page where you can get good advice on her patterns.

It looks pretty basic, just a bunch of the same block and then sewn into a four patch and then those sewn together, and then with lines and "feathers" appliqued on top.

I'll agree with Gail, I've done several JK patterns and I've gotten so I look over the directions, and then rewriting for the way I like to construct blocks. I really like her designs and feel that's not a big issue for me.

This is a beautiful quilt and I would not have a clue where to start to make it. This is one that I would follow the instructions closely. It is out of my realm of abilities anymore. If you do decide to make this I want to see it one part at a time until is is finished.
