I ordered a Juki TL98Q, but instead I got sent the wrong machine. I opened the box to find a TL-2000Qi. (The outside of the box did not specify the model inside, beyond that it was a TL.) I'm really torn. I have projects that NEED to get finished this week, and if I send back the 2000Qi, I won't be able to finish them. AND I will be out of a machine for another 2 weeks. :-( (My current machine is being kind of fussy and has been ruining fabric, so I haven't been using it.)

Is the TL-2000Qi as good as the TL98Q? Would it be a good idea to just keep the one that I have, instead of returning it for the TL98Q?

I am so torn. I was so excited to start sewing with it today, but now I don't know what to do.

i would have to let the company i ordered it from know.

it was a mistake and typically the 98Q sells for less money then the 2000.

I have just Googled this and I think you will find that they have replaced the TL98Q with the TL2000QI. Best to phone your supplier and check it out before just sending it back

Yes, I have emailed the company to let them know. ;) That was the very first thing I did.

I'll let you know what I think about the machine!

Gosh, I just want to sew sooo badly on the juki! :(

I agree with the others, call the place of business and speak to a manager, a real person and get the scoop to see if you got what you paid for.

The 2000 is the updated 98...but, talk to the company first.

Elle, I have had the Juki for a couple of years, and I LOVE her! She can run for hours on end and not overheat, and she cuts the threads when you push a button. She free motions like a dream.

i have the 98Q and its an awesome machine.

i got it for half the price because the 2000 model had just come out and the were clearing out their 98Q stock.

Thanks for the info, I really liked the way this machined sewed and the large arm area for quilting
