I am in love with those little fabric license plates you can sew into various items. Several of us are signed up in the Swap section to exchange some from different areas of the country.


Originally I was going to make zipper bags out of mine, until I started looking at what others have done with theirs.

What are your favorites?

I like the wallet pattern but I also plan on using some of them in the RxR quilt.

I keep changing my mind between a bag or a wall hanging with the license plates looking like direction signs. What to do, what to do!

I haven't done it yet, but plan to make a tote to take to Guild and retreats.

This reminds me that I think I bought a pattern to make a tote with those license plates......where did I put it and where are my plates???

lol Murphy. I lose patterns all the time too! If you don't find your plates we're swapping come join us. Lol

I've been saving some for the last couple of years, so I'm going to watch this discussion. I put a few into a row by row quilt which also had the license plate fabric. But I still have some hanging around. Please show pictures!
