The pattern has a 10" center square, bordered by 1 1/4" strips with 4 3/4" half square triangles in the corners. I don't have a picture (except for one that I have tried to create in EQ7). Please let me know if you know of the magazine this pattern may have been featured or if you know of the pattern

the only difference is the sashing repeats the corners and edges of blocks

I'll need more details. The description is too general for me to look through all my magazines.

Any idea which magazine, or when? Even an approximate idea?

Unfortunately I don't a friend seen it at a quilt shop, and the store employee stated it was made from a pattern in a magazine, my friend didn't ask which issue, which magazine only sent me a picture message with it.

If it was in a quilt shop the magazine was probably recent - at least within the last year.

Do you need the pattern itself? It looks like you've recreated it already.

Call the quilt shop and ask which magazine it was in.
