I am making lap quilts and have one that I would like to do using a center square then surrounded by two different colors. I have looked at the square in a square patterns but not really what I am looking for. I am not sure what it would be called so I am asking here because I know someone can help me faster than I can help myself

    Thanx

Star, can you describe what you are looking for a little better? Could it be a wonky square?

Ok I thought my description was bad!! well eparys I see it is like the first one in the third row(log cabin?) but I want to use just three colors like Diana did.

I want my center block to be the biggest though and the two outer rings(borders) to be skinny. like strips.

Hope I did a better job. never thought of it as a log cabin just using fewer colors :?:

Here are two blocks done in three colors - each is a dif construction. If either of these would do - PM me with the size and I can do it in my software and send it to you.
