    Default looking for pattern

My DIL and I went to a craft fair last weekend in Hillsboro, KS...saw a large wall hanging quilt...about 24"( or a bit more) across and 5 foot or more high...Christmas tree...all batiks...made with triangles...stacked...but each triangle was made of several triangles...My DIL fell in love with it...and I'd love to make her one for her birthday, which is a week before Christmas...the height isn't a problem...they have 22 ft. ceilings...Can anyone help me find the pattern, please.
    Thanks...

By chance did you take a picture, so we know what you are looking for?

Check out the McCall's site, as I believe there is a tree wall hanging there.

    Would it be this one?

You could easily change it's size with larger blocks ... and a taller tree that's broader at the base.

Does anyone know where to get the micro-mini Christmas tree lights that you can put onto a quilt, such as this?

I think I saw some at Hobby Lobby last year.

Thanks, though we don't have Hobby Lobby here.

I've watched Michael's and so far any they have the lights may be small, but the socket part is bulky and heavy and just would not work well to tuck behind a quilt and let the bulb poke thru.

    I keep hoping!
