    I will be sure to post those pics. This is my fourth one so far. They're all entitled some version or other of "What Was I Thinking" --- the most recent is in all florals. It's for a neighbor who has beautiful gardens and is always sharing both plants, and advice. It's going to be 91x91 -- that's 8,281 pieces (which is where the 'what was I thinking' part comes from!!).

    Oh gorgeous! I agree with Patrice....my immediate thought when I saw it was some triangular motifs in the lighter areas to make sure the star actually does pop out! Feathers are perfect for that and actually are not hard to do. I can't wait to see it all quilted!

    I quilt all my quilts with a large stipple and they always hold their shapes,points,log cabins and all other shapes. The key is to pin the sandwich about every 3-4". Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous !!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
