What machines have low bobbin thread warning?

I know that many of the newer Bernina models do...700 series and probably the new 500 series. It’s been so long since I’ve been to a quilt show where the new models are on display so I’m not sure. Maybe other QB members will be more helpful.

Brother machines have that feature too. I found that a metal bobbin does not show low bobbin thread on my machine but plastic ones will.

Brother and Babylock machines have it. Check the machine spec pages for the different models and it will be listed. All of my machines have this feature. I love it!

My Bernina 770QE has it and I love it. Plus the bobbins are huge.

I had an older Singer that had the warning but it never helped me. I knew how far I could sew when the light came on and of course ran out while sewing. LOL

My Husqvarna Sapphire 870Q has it, but my older Husqvarna Lily 540 doesn't.

My Janome use to beep when the bobbin was getting low but it stopped working years ago and the cost to repair was out of site. My Brothers machines beep for low bobbins. It is a real nice feature. Must use plastic bobbins.

Just make sure it works! Mine didn't.

My Janome 1000 has it. It beeps too soon. I can do a lot more sewing after the low bobbin sensor beeps. I just sew until I run out.
