A quilt shop in the area where I work is closing and everything is 40% off. So I stopped cause I was looking for a certain novelty fabric and remembered seeing it there. I got that (didn't need 1 yd, but wouldn't cut for anything less, but hey, needed to upgrade my stash anyway ;-) ) So, I got 2yds fabric then found a 12 in sq ruler, Omni grid grip one, (mine has the corner chopped off), and then I struck gold! I got some Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. One was queen and one king, for quilts I have in the planning stages. I got over $70 worth of supplies for about $42!!!! Her prices were low anyway, so it was awesome. I may just go back one more time before they close for good. Man! I could go broke saving money! 8-)

Hmmmm, my mom used to live in Sycamore IL. She goes out there occasionally on business. Possible road trip?
